A portion of fried chicken is half a chicken and each piece is better than the one before! Two of us had the chicken and decided it was the best ever. All four of us agreed the coleslaw was also outstanding. Incredible breading on the pork chops and fish too! And Shirley couldn&#39;t have provided better service. We think this is a find in DC near Lincoln&#39;s Summer Home (another place well worth a visit).

Very feel bar~ I ordered a glass of whiskey and the taste was very positive. I also met a handsome guy in a crooked country haha, and added WeChat. So recommend a single beautiful handsome guy to hit a peach blossom!

A simple meal, I want a fast food, the French fries are not large, and finally I feel that the cake is more delicious, especially the chocolate mousse cake is very good, the chicken legs are big, one person can&#39;t eat.

The dishes here in Southeast Asia are good in taste, more comfortable than eating American dishes, the steamed fish in the lotus leaves are delicious, and the fried fish pieces are also very good, they are all specialties, and the taste is relatively light.

Long-term meat, greasy things, occasionally need to change the taste, eat some light things. So with a few good friends in the local area, weeding this light food restaurant, they are also authentic vegetarian restaurants.

If you love southern food and especially fried chicken, you need to try this place! It&#39;s very low key and laid back - great for a group or family. Go early for their specials -- nice value on drink choices. We&#39;ve now been twice and will definitely go again!

Right across the street from Lincoln&#39;s Cottage, The Hitching Post is a delightful surprise. It has been around for 45+ years (although the owners sold it two years ago) with southern cooking as its specialty. Good soups, salads and appetizers to start your meal but the &quot;stars of the show&quot; here are the entrees. The fried chicken dinner (chicken, mashed potatoes and collard greens) ranks as the best on the menu. This place serves comfort food to put you into a different mind set, away from fast food and the fast pace of the city. Pretty good wait staff and a small bar. Tight quarters inside but some tables outside for good weather enjoyment.

A good choice close to President Lincoln&#39;s Cottage; menu includes enough selection for every budget and appetite.
